My qualifications include: 

  • Dynamic training from St. John's University clinical mental health program, enriched by specialized training (3-years grade and 4-post graduate) and years of practical experience. 

  • Experience as an Family Intervention Specialist, supporting diverse families and children with family reunification efforts, hospitalizations, forensic involvement,  and etc. 

  • A significant role in post-graduate externships focused on providing trauma-informed care. 

  • Over fourteen years of direct clinical practice and five years as a clinical supervisor in outpatient settings, coupled with extensive experience in school, outpatient, and residential settings. 

  • A special focus on assisting women survivors through life transitions and trauma. 

  • Experience providing care to forensic clients that have engaged in problematic sexual behaviors and support them in their prognosis.  

  • Support and supervise interns in graduate mental health programs through diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, therapeutic engagement, and mobilizing change in client.
